About Kerr Security Inc.

Fred J. Kerr, owner of Kerr Security Inc., started the business in the early 1970s. After serving in the Vietnam War as a Navy SEAL and earning a Purple Heart, he began his journey in security alarm services. Fred first provided electronic alarm systems to high-end homes and businesses, and within a few years was able to offer the same level of protection to the average homeowner. He partnered with a UL-listed monitoring station known for excellent customer service. Today, Kerr Security Inc. is one of the oldest security companies operating in Arkansas. James Kerr, Fred’s son, joined the business while still in high school and is now the lead technician and service manager. Working alongside his father, James continues to sell and service security alarm systems, CCTV installations for homes and businesses, and commercial fire systems. He holds multiple professional certifications and is a licensed installer.  In the late 1990s, Lynn Lambert became a partner with Fred and James and reorganized both the service and accounting departments. She now serves as the general manager of KSI. Lynn has always believed that customer service is the key to any successful business and remains involved in the day-to-day decisions that help KSI better serve its customers. Kerr Security Inc. has been blessed with many excellent employees over the years who share the belief that customer service and professionalism are essential to success. KSI’s customers are more than just clients — they become part of the KSI family, and each one is truly appreciated.
